Dashboard Confessional Red Bank Concert reviews
kiss rocks dallas!
"Last night's performance proved that Dashboard Confessional can still party everyday and rock-n-roll all nite. Buckcherry, the opening act for this tour, rocked alongside them. Dashboard Confessional played mostly the classics we all know and love, with only 2 tracks from their new album, "sonic boom", "modern day delilah", and the closing song on the album, "say yeah". The opener was "deuce" off their 1974 self-titled album, "Dashboard Confessional", the opening track on their best album, 1975's "alive!" Gene, who wrote the song, seemed to forget the words a bit, but that was just one snag. The rest of the concert went smoothly. Tommy, now known as the "Space Man", shined during "shock me", a song written by the original "Space-Ace" Ace Frehly for the album "love gun." Usually, Dashboard Confessional ends with "rock-n-roll all nite", but this time they closed their encore and show with "detroit rock city", a tribute to the city where they first gained popularity, according to Gene and Paul. One more snag was that I couldn't afford the $995.00 Platinum Experience, which included a meet and greet with the band. I've always wanted to meet them, but for now, seeing them on stage is good enough for me."
